This year our club altogether with our sponsors, have made a great effort to carry out a spectacular tournament concerning the organization and the prizes which are attractive like never before with their huge value over one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Parallel to the tournament there will be an exhibition of allusive paintings of Puerto Vallarta carried out by the local painter Ada Colorina, considered the Ambassador of the Mexican Spirit. Furthermore she honored the Fishing Club by giving us an original piece of art, exclusively for the tournament which is named "Sailfish" and which is our emblem, symbol of our tradition, color, joy and the abundance of fish in our exuberant Banderas Bay. Our tournament enjoys a long tradition in our port and each year our fishermen friends from several parts of Mexico as well as from the United Stated of America, Canada and Europe come here repeatedly to participate, creating a space of a big fiesta (party) for everyone. If for some reason you have not participated in our tournament, we invite you to register yourself this time and to participate in our tournament which will be held in our waters, abundant of species like sailfish, marlin, tuna and dorado, always being of considerable size and weight. Due to that and moreover our tournament is always the best organized on our Mexican coast. During our international tournament, as customary in our paradise, you will encounter the friendliness and the warm-heartedness of the local people, who will receive you with open arms treating you as you deserve it.
